I don't know about DVD's, but the 5 fundamentals by Ben Hogan is a very good book to pick up.

I agree with Mastersak. The 5 fundamentals by Ben Hogan is a must read for any golfer of any age. As for DVD's I'm also unaware of a good tuturial. My recommendation would be to check out golfdigest and the golf channel for any tips you may want and try to view as much footage of the pro's as you can. I'd also suggest a few lessons to start you off to get on the right track and if cost is an issue group lessons are available which would keep expenses at a minimum. After that hit the range as much as possible and practice. Hope this helps

    Hey guys,

I picked up the Leadbetter Interactive DVD set this winter. Very good tool for fine tuning your swing. Plus the swing analysis software that comes with it is great. Here is the link.

    Default Help with your game

I have tried so so many things , and have taken lessons over the years, and with my schedule, family and business and not much time to put in to practice, I found a web site called simplewaygolf.com and for twentysome odd dollars it was the best tips ,drills and advice I found, I could work on my game at home, and my game has improved, it will work for all levels of golfers, but for begginers I recommend it highly.

Good Luck and hit em straight

I know of a book/video combo. It's specifically for beginners, easy to understand language and 5 short videos that match the contents of the book.
They are also giving away the 1st chapter of the book which discusses golf clubs for beginners, then they get into the swing after that. It's pretty good.
