    Default Wedge flex shafts

I recently bought 3 new muzuno mpr wedges. To the tune of $450. They are equiped with dynamic gold wedge flex shafts. I also have mp 30 irons with r300 shafts. I play the r300 shafts beautifully. I am finding the new wedges really hard to hit. They have no feel and the shaft is like a solid piece of steel. I cant tell where the cluhead is through the swing and like I said ....there unbelievably stiff and heavy. This used to be a solid part of my game...and now im so thrown off and frustrated trying to get answers about this new shaft. Swing speeds are lower with wedges ....and the shaft is shorter causing it to be stiffer. So why use an even stiffer shaft? Thats what the wedge flex is.....stiff. Any answers for me....I need help

The wedge flex shaft is said to be between regular and stiff. So you're right when you say they're stiffer. Also the wedges have the highest swing weight of all the clubs. So again correct, heavy and stiff. Some people I know have actually drilled holes in the back of their wedges (called ports) to take some weight out. You could also change the shaft to something lighter and softer. Also check the loft and lie. Most pros play a flatter lie angle on the wedges relative to the rest of the set.
